Light of the world

There is a huge diversity in good works that the Scriptures can equip us for.  In all our different roles and responsibilities. In all these different roles we can be involved in good works by being a better person and doing good things better, to God’s glory.  

Matthew 5:14 - 16 (NIV) 14“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.  15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.  

Scriptures can equip us to be a better friend.  A better husband or wife. A better employee or boss.  A better leader. A better citizen.  A better missionary.  A better witness for God.  So let's dig into it.
