A passage that spoke to my heart, prompting me to consider how dear the church is to God?

1 Corinthians 3:16 - 17 (NIV) 16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple.

Apostle was writing to the Corinthian Christians and impressing upon them how important the Corinth church is. Because God lives in them. Should anyone attempt to destroy God's church, God will destroy him.

Let us therefore do our utmost to build God's church.
